Kelman Tinto

Kelman is a wine that celebrates the tradition of Dão. A wine designed for everyday use, combining tradition and versatility.

Varieties:

Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Jaen — giving fruity character and structure.

12 months aging in used French oak barrels.

Tasting notes:

• Color: Intense and bright ruby.

• Aroma: Intense aromas of ripe red fruits, such as blackberries, with floral notes, spices and subtle hints of minerals.

• Palate: Medium to full-bodied, with good tannic structure and balanced acidity. Mineral character, providing freshness, volume, and a harmonious finish.

Harmonization:

Ideal with grilled meats, game dishes (such as venison or wild boar), aged cheeses, dishes with mild spices or roasted vegetables with peppers.

Alcohol content: 13%

Kelman Wines was founded in 2013 when Juliana Kelman returned to Dão to pursue her passion for wine. Located in Nelas, the brand produces elegant and authentic wines, highlighting the Encruzado grape variety and respecting the local terroir, earning national and international recognition.
